I have a coin laundry and am installing new commercial

Customer Question

I have a coin laundry and am installing new commercial washers. The ones I removed were 240 3 phase and the wire is still there. the new machines are 240 single phase. I was told to get a 100 amp panel box and hook up the wire to the 100 amp box and leave the box to new machines. the new machines can be single or 3 phase. does all this make any sense. Thx

Hi, I'm Mike G and I'll be assisting you. Please clarify your statement. If the old dryers were 3 phase and the new ones are able to be either single or 3 phase, what's the question? Why not use the circuits as wired, 3 phase.
