I have an electrical underground conduit running from the pole to the house. I want to place an above ground pool over it, but have to grade down about 6-8" to achieve level... how deep would this conduit have been buried?

If the wire is in conduit, it can be as shallow as 18". If it were direct burial (wire rated for contact with soil, without conduit), it should be a minimum of 24" deep.
