I am wiring up LED lights under cabinet. I have opened the wall and added a junction box in the wall. Now I want to run the AC from the wire nuts in the wall to the AC2DC adapter.
I can do this by making a dual socket, then a plug from the adapter or..
I can do this by taking a solid wallplate, drilling hole in center, and wiring the adapter wire into the wire nuts.
Is the second approach conform code?

Yes as long as all connections are in a box or the approved connectors that came with the fixtures.
