Hello and welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I will be happy to assist you with your electrical question.

1) What are you using to test the voltage? An AC voltmeter or another type of voltage tester?

2) Does the home have any other 240 volt appliances such as a Central Air, or electric range, etc? If so, are they all working correctly?

3) Did you install one double pole breaker or (2) separate single pole breakers?
