Customer Question

please advise the best smoke alarm to be installed - the ionisation alarm or the
photoelectric alarm.
Also, we have 2 ionisation alarms in our unit so should they be replaced with a combined
ionisation and photoelectric alarm or only with a photoelectric alarm ?
Your advice would be appreciated.

Hi, I'm Mike G and I'll be assisting you. In my opinion a combination detector would be the best. Photo cells respond faster to smoldering and ionozation faster to flame fires. Better to have a unit that does both.
