I have baseboard heat and removed the old double pole dial

Customer Question

I have baseboard heat and removed the old double pole dial thermostat. But there are four wires two red and two black from the wall and only two on the new programmable thermostat. How do I hook this up

Hi, I'm Mike G and I'll be glad to assist you. Connect either blacks together or the reds together. The remaining will be the ones to use. You have a single pole t-stat.
