1) Depends on what you have in place.
2) This A/C unit has a 12 amp load and pretty much requires a dedicated 15 amp circuit with no other shared loads. If any other shared loads reside on the 15 amp circuit, the shared loads need to be un-plugged and/or lighting turned OFF as the 15 amp required circuit breaker
will most likely overload if the A/C unit and any other connected loads are running simultaneously on a shared circuit. I recommend that this A/C unit reside on it's own dedicated 15 amp/120 volt circuit with no other connected loads.
3) Yes, the A/C unit requires a 120 volt/15 amp circuit using a 3 prong grounded wall receptacle (1 hot, 1 neutral and 1 equipment ground)....ie.....a NEMA rated 5-15R receptacle that is located in most home's.
110 volts and 115 volts are both nominal voltage ratings. The National Electrical Code refers to the voltages on wall receptacles and lighting within the home as 120 volts. The 110 and/or 115 voltages are nominal voltages due to the constant voltage fluctuation from the local electrical utility supplier. 110, 115 and 120 are all the same thing.
