We had to replace our sewer pump, my dad brilliantly cut the in line plugs, to hard wire it. First it turned on and wouldnt turn off. Now the breakers just tripping. 12-2 from panel. One plug is wired black, blue, and green and yellow. The other is black and white and yellow have all blacks wired together, blue and whites together, and green to ground. Breaker is still tripping

1) What are the wire colors in the house box and how many wires?
2) What are the wire colors in the pump cord? Black, Blue and a combination Green/Yellow?
3) Is the pump circuit a 120 or 240 volt circuit?
