Norm, I'm trying to wire a Dayton 2X440A switch to a Leeson

Customer Question

Hi Norm, I'm trying to wire a Dayton 2X440A switch to a Leeson 1 hp single phase 115v motor. I found a similar question but am still having trouble with the diagram. I have the Leeson motor all ready to go with the proper wires combined according to the diagram on the motor, but I'm not sure exactly where to put them.

Welcome. My name is ***** ***** would be glad to assist.

If you can get a picture of the motor nameplate and post here, I can put a wiring diagram together for you.

The model of the Leeson motor may be enough to acquire the information from Leeson also.

Are you operating at 230 volts?

Let me know and we can continue,

Thanks
