Welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I will be happy to assist you with your electrical question. 1) Where is the remote receiver located at on the fan? Inside the ceiling fan canopy cover or inside the fan motor housing area?2) Do you have an AC voltmeter available?3) Does the fan also contain a light kit?4) You have confirmed the identical DIP switch settings on both the receiver and the handheld transmitter, is that correct?
