In my new house my attic fan does not work. There is power

Customer Question

In my new house my attic fan does not work. There is power going to the thermostat box but I have no pwer coming from the metal conduit coming from the box to the fan. Would I get a power reading through the conduit or is that a sign that the attic fan needs to be replaced.

Hi, I'm Mike G and will be glad to assist you. I suggest you bypass the t-stat to see if the fan works. If it does, replace the t-stat. If it doesn't replace the fan
