Your saw has a lock button you push to change the blade.
Do this with the saw unplugged.
Rotate the blade with one hand and push the button with the other.
You will feel the blade lock in place.
A wrench comes with the saw .'
It is metric.
The locking bolt is opposite or "left hand"
so clockwise is loose and counter clockwise
is tight.
When you get it loose only remove the
outside washer and the blade.
I will post s link to show a diagram Customer

This is not my problem. There is a laser gizmo covering the nut that holds on the blade. It does not show in the user's manual. There was a small bolt in the center of the lazer hub. I removed it and that did no good. Also, when I took the guard off, a coil spring and 1/2 in. long black bolt fell out. So, I don't know how to reassemble the guard, even if I figure out how to get the blade off.

It looks like there are two Phillips head screws that have to be removed
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
The diagrams do show a servicing of the laser guide and the two screws. But, I removed the bolt shown on page 9 of the manual and that did nothing for me. I lightly applied a pair of plyers to the laser guide and nothing moved. There must be some way to remove a cover that conceals the two screws you and the manual mention/show.
I was expecting some detailed diagrams that would help me. So far this has been over an hour to interact with you. Unless you can speed this up and SHOW me how to do this, let us call it a night. It is 20 minutes to midnight and I must go to bed in 10 minutes or so.

How much does this cost me? I learned nothing about solving my questions and spent almost 2 hours watching this screen. Sure was not even worth your $5 minimum.
