I'm putting up sconce lighting (4 total). the middle two boxes

i'm putting up sconce lighting (4 total). the middle two boxes don't have any exposed wire (the wires seem to run continuously from beginning to end). how do i connect the middle 2 sconces? do i just strip the insulation, or do i actually cut the wire? thanks.

sorry, i just want to make sure. when you say cut the cable, you mean both the wire and the insulation? sorry to be redundant, but i don't want to do something that i can't undo. thanks again.

Cable is the wires and the outer sheath. You'll have 2 black, 2 whites and 2 bare ground wires when you do it for connections. You shouldn't have more than 1/4 in of sheath in the box.
