Customer Question

Similar to the question about wiring the Altura fan without the use of the remote. I have 2 light switches to an existing fan where one does only the light and the other the fan. Is there a way to use the light switch for the light and not pass through the remote device?

Welcome. My name is ***** ***** would be glad to assist.
You want to install a remote to this fan? Is that correct?
Can you access the canopy of the fan where it attaches to the ceiling box?
Pull the canopy down to expose the wiring and post the information back and we can determine what is needed.
Do not unwire the fan, just need to check the wire colors attached.
Let me know and we can continue,
