When I plug in my tester to a receptacle in my motor home

Customer Question

When I plug in my tester to a receptacle in my motor home it reads hot neu reverse. We are plugged into a 30 amp breaker and all of the receptacles read the same.

Hi, I'm Mike and I'll be glad to assist you. A plug tester gives that indication when the neutral has a bad connection. I suggest checking with a 2 wire voltage tester at the shore power outlet to see if the neutral is there and not in your RV.
