I am attempting to replace a Slater dimmer switch with a Lutron single pole switch (D600PH-DK). The wiring diagram supplied with the new switch doesn't match up the old switch

Can you describe the wires in the wall box, relative to quantity and color, and how they were connected to the old switch? Better yet, if you can post a photo, that would be even more helpful.
