Customer Question

Hi Mike. I have several rooms very dim lights, range is out but microwave above it is not. Gfi is in the panel-2; one trips with test button, one does not trip. Fluorescents in garage won't even turn on. No electrical work recently.

Hi, I'm Mike and I'll be glad to assist you. Your description indicates a bad connection on a phase conductor. It will be at the panel or ahead on the utility wiring. If you have a 2 wire voltage tester, I'll direct you in pin pointing the problem.
