Operating at 230 and it is a homemade switch with a power on and off and forward neutral and reverse switch. I have 5 wires coming from the switch to the motor.

In order to setup a reversing switch for any motor, the contact configuration of the switch must be known.

If you can provide that information, we can work up a diagram for the connection.

Reversing switches are very elaborate and require contacts to make and make in a certain pattern, or else the switch will not work.

Dont know how one makes a switch, but if you can provide the information.I am sure can work it up for you

It isnt possible to wire a motor and use it for forward and reverse, the switch does not have the appropriate contact configuration.
It is used strictly 2 position on up and on down switch with off in the center..
Only 2 poles.

It requires a DRUM switch for motor reversing
