We have 3 outlets in our bathroom that do not work when we plug hair dryer or anything

Hello there and welcome to Just Answer. My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will be assisting you today. I am an engineer with over 30 years of electrical and electronic training, repair and installation experience. I will try and answer your question accurately and precisely so that we can get you on your way.

Now..very often, the outlets in bathrooms are protected by a GFI receptacle somewhere else in the house.

A GFI receptacle looks like this:

The receptacle could be anywhere in the house - look near the electrical panel or near the bathroom.

You will see that there is a reset button on the face of the outlet. That button will be popped out when the GFI has tripped. You can safely push it back in.

That should re-energize your bathroom outlets.

See what you can find and let me know how it turns out.

I'll be here.
