i have a fan i want wired to a plug, and not sure how to do that, tryed to wire it to N and L and nothing... more info its 50 hz and 220-240 v and its going to be used in denmark, so its AC
Welcome. My name is XXXXX XXXXX would be glad to assist.

Since you only have a 2 wire cable for the connection, follow the diagram below and connect the fan.

Just hit reply for anything further, thanks

okay thanks that helped alot. i will wire this and take a pic and post it for you when i have time, but when your saying jumper ? can that just be 1 wire going from LS to N ?

A jumper is a short piece of wire about 5-6" in length.

It is used to connect 2 points together.

DO NOT use it between the N terminal at all.

Look at the diagram please, it goes between the L and LS

here are the pics, wanna know if have done it right be4 i plug it in,CyOETcc

if this works i will be a happy man! :D hope u can reply to me fast for kinda wanna test if it works and ty

Thanks for the pics.

The blue should be your neutral and connect to N

The brown should be the Live and connect to L

That is the standard wire colors.

If you think yours could have been reversed at some time, you would need a voltage tester to verify.
