I have a 4 Station Outdoor Swing Panel Timer
model 57894 Orbit how do I wire it to the Centripro cb30412cr

When I turn on the breaker the pump runs It looks like the timer can supply a ground or 24v

There is a strap from L1 to first lead on the pump. L2 runs thru the caps.
like I said pump runs when powered up how do I get the timer to control the pump.
Welcome. My name is XXXXX XXXXX would be glad to assist.

What you have in the Swing Panel Timer is a relay with 24 volts output for pump starting on Terminals COM and PUMP
The timer does not operate any line voltage equipment directly.

The Centripro motor control operates on line voltage at terminals, L1 and L2

You need something in between the 2 that will accept 24 volts to close the master relay and output the line voltage for the pump.

CLICK HERE for a pump start relay

You will connect the 24 volt coil wires to the Timer and that would allow the timer to activate the relay.

Connect Line voltage to the relay on one end, then the Lines to the pump control L1 and L2 on the other end.

That will get you going.

Just reply for any clarifications, thanks
