JA: Where exactly do you think the noise is coming from? And how long has this been going on?
Customer: its coming from the solenoid, I charged the batteries and all it does is click
JA: What is the model/year of your electric?
Customer: 98 ezgo
JA: Are you fixing your 98 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes, I changed batteries and control module
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: when it ran before it didn't have very much range, it would go dead really fast

Not sure where question has been for last 4 hours! Just showed up on my end! Does the charger come on when plugged to cart?Do you have voltmeter to test voltage at the solenoid? Do you have 36 volts at solenoid, on both sides?

If you jump the two cables at the solenoid does cart run? If it does, solenoid needs to be replaced.
