have a club car precedent2008 just put brand new batteries in it fierst time use went to charge batteries battery charger does not kick on took my charger and tried it on another cart and charger worked fine what is going on???

You missed a cable. There is not enough voltage at the charger plug to activate the chargers internal relay. It has to see at least 75 percent of the battery pack voltage to close the relay.

The primary circuit is not complete. Check from charger port , to battery pack, back to the charger port, cable off or loose.
