Cannot get it to accept my information

I have two others but they are getting too slow that is why I bought this one it is the amazon fire 7" tablet quadcore 8gb w/alexa assist

I am just setting up the fire and cannot register it as it won't take the info i give it

Before you can register it, you must connect it to the network. Have you already done that?

I don't use my credit cards often and they call me to see if I did order items so that maybe some of the delay
