My Fire HD (5th Generation), will not turn on take charge

Technician's Assistant: Have you done a hard reset on your Fire by holding down the power button until it vibrates or beeps?

We tried that-there is no response-no vibration or beep

Technician's Assistant: Has there been any recent damage to your device (e.g. from dropping it or getting it wet)?

I don't remember any damage and it was working this morning
