Not sure it says firmware version 5.6.1.1

Remove the charger from the Kindle and hold the power button to off for 60 seconds.

Release, then connect the charger and try to turn on the Kindle and use it.

Coming up with incomplete purchase

please do the below steps.

Visit the page for your account - https://www.amazon.com/manageyourkindle

- Log into using your Amazon account (the same Amazon account you have registered on your Kindle)

On the right side select "Settings"

Under 'Kindle Payment Settings' (first option)

Click 'Edit Payment Method'

Change your credit card details.

Restart your Kindle and it will update

Then try to purchase

Now,

We need to reset the Kindle

To do this, go to Menu, settings, Menu, Reset Kindle

Once done, set it up and tell me how it then functions please

Ok, the issue is with your account, this confirms it, reset the Kindle again, use your original account and then call the accounts department on 08004961081 to correct it
