I can't get my Nook out of safe mode.

Technician's Assistant: What brand and model of e-reader do you have?

Samsung Model SM-T713

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on with your e-reader? What have you tried so far?

I tried to turn it off and on, and the method of holding down the start button until Nook appears, then holding down the volume key. This just started today when my Nook went into safe mode when the power went to 0%.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the E-reader Expert to know before I connect you?

This has happened before and I was able to turn it off but I can't remember what I did.

1. Touch and Hold the "Power" key.

2. Tap "Power Off".

3. Once the tablet is off, Touch and Hold the "Power" key again to restart.

Then I don't want to do that. I have had this happen before and I was able to get rid of safe mode without resetting my tablet. I just don't remember what I did differently.

Hold down the Power key for a short while in order to turn off the device.

After that, press and hold simultaneously the Volume Up + Home + Power button for a few moments

You should release held keys as soon as the Samsung Logo appears on the screen.

Afterwards select reboot system now.

Less than a year old.

That is good news because it can be repaired/replaced by Barnes and Noble.
