This is usually an issue with the Firmware, so I would first like you to do this please.

Remove the charger from the Kindle and hold the power button to off for 60 seconds.

Release, then connect the charger and try to turn on the Kindle and play the games.

That worked but now I have to push open for each one, which I didn't have to open each one separate before.

There is a pull-down menu at the top of the screen where the time is displayed. You will need to tap on it twice, but on the second tap, keep holding down a couple seconds until you can pull down the menu. Once you see the menu, double tap on the far right button (MORE). Scroll down to accessibility, select it, then make certain all three choices are OFF.

It is at the top, go to settings and locate accessibility and you see the options there to disable
