I have received a new Kindle ( DP75SD1 ) as a gift, and while trying to register in I have discovered I have misplaced my login ID. My password ***** ***** 39 . Can you help???

When I open the Kindle and attempt to register my Kindle it requests that I enter my Amazon account information,

2 / Password
I have the password, but it's been some time since I registered my original Kindle, and I have no clue as to a login ID.

The ID would be the email address on file with Amazon. Did you forget that?
