I have just purchased...

I have just purchased a new kindle and have tried to register it to my amazon account and it comes up with an error message " login ID and password ***** not match any Amazon Accounts on record". So I tried to create a new one using the same login details and get "you already have an account with this email address

Technician's Assistant: When could you last access your Kindle?

It was a couple of months ago - I have since tried de registering and re registering my kindle. this did not work - So have now purchased a new kindle completely and am having the same issue on the new one

Technician's Assistant: Did you try resetting through Amazon's online password ***** tool?

How do I do this?
