I know I have an internet connection but my kindle says please check you wi-fi or mobile network connection and try again. my kindle fire does work for certain titles and not for others
JA: How long has this been going on with your Kindle? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I have not used it for some time but I am leaving tomorrow and want to take them but neither one is working--they give me three choices add to favorites, remove from carousel, download.
JA: Anything else you want the E-reader Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: most say no internet connection--but i do have internet connection as far as I know.

Initially, have you considered / tried performing a software update of the Kindle? ...manually with the use of a computer?
