I haven't used my kindle for some time. They tell me to go to Amazon.com and change my default setting. Can't seem to make this happen. Do I need a new password? What do I do? Thanks.

It is a paper white and I is about 4 years old.

I'm having troubles with my Apple ipad2 so maybe getting old
