I received a message...

I received a message from Amazon saying there was a problem with my last book order. I called and they are telling me I need to pay $100 - $150 dollars to re register my account. This sounds like a scam

Technician's Assistant: Just to clarify, what's the exact make and model of your machine?

I have a kindle white.

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?

It's the first time I've had a problem. No troubleshooting yet.

Amazon does not send out emails and ask you to call nor pay them. As long as your Kindle is working, then you are fine.
