Customer Question

Thank you. My Kindle peperwight will no longer connect to the house wifi.
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: I've tried turning it on to airplane mode and back to wifi in theory, except the airplane device seems to be working like a fuzzy peach. I tried during off AM (airplane mode), turning of the kindle entirely, leaving it for 5 minutes, and turning back on, letting it load. No wifi (not unexpected since I'd put it in AM before I turned it off. So, I turned off AM and waited. Nope. The wifi screen notes that there are 6 wifi connections in range, although it will not let me see them, nor will it let me see my house wifi. Answering your question next.
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?

JA: Anything else you want the E-reader Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: model no: D01100 IC: 9599A-0725 FCC ID: ZEG-0725 I think I bought it in 2015. I'd have to dig through the files. I last turned it on, downloaded my last book within the last 3 months, and last night's book, which can't download.
