I am having trouble trying to make a purchase this morning.

My name is***** and I am having trouble trying to make a purchase this morning. I have my password ***** -new- 8/27/17, however, old password ***** xmas2014. Neither password ***** ***** I have not made any purchases for some time now. I'm afraid that my account with you may be "hacked"? I have not purchased anything for sometime now. Can you let me know what, if anything, is keeping me from using my Amazon account. Thank you.
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: I'm not sure I understand question correctly....I'm on my laptop commuter that was purchased in 2013.
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Today is the first time. It has been awhile since I purchased, however, I did receive an email several months ago "Thanking me for my recent purchase with Amazon." I had not purchased anything and, I was kind of (silly) in not pursuing.
JA: Anything else you want the E-reader Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: My husband wants to place an order, however, with the issues stated above can't. That's about it. I should also state, that there were two charges on my Discover card for Smartphones. However, Discover has taken care of that.

- is your laptop an Apple computer, or a Windows PC type computer?

- can you utterly not log in to your account?
