MY KINDLE WON'T LET ME BUY BOOKS
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: Amazon Kindle Model No. D00901. I don't know how old it is. It's pretty old.
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: It's about a month and I called because I have changed credit cards and gave amazon my new credit card and number/
JA: Anything else you want the e-reader expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Can't think of anything.

Please follow the steps to change the card info, do it again and see if it helps.

Go to amazon.com
Log in using the email id and password.
Once you have logged in , Go to Manage Your Content and Devices.
From Settings, select Edit Payment Method below Kindle Payment Settings.
Select the desired credit card information, or add a new card, and then click Continue.
Enter the desired billing address, and then click Continue. You will be taken back to the Kindle Payment Settings page where you can view your edited 1-Click payment method.
