my kindle app on my iPad is not responding. I can't open it and it is black on my desktop
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: model MD528C/A
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: it used to work just fine. I have several books on it. I think I downloaded the app about 2 years ago. I just noticed yesterday that it isn't working and I haven't used it for several months.
JA: Anything else you want the eReader expert to know before I connect you?

From the Home screen of your device, tap and hold the Kindle icon until the icons start to shake.
Tap the "X" icon on the upper left-hand corner of the icon.
Tap "Delete" to remove the app and its contents.
Removing Kindle content from or uninstalling the Kindle app does not remove purchased items or archived personal documents from your Kindle Library stored on
Then go to your AppStore on the iPad and reinstall the Kindle app.
Then you can sign in with your Amazon account and restore your content.
