I cannot get online with my Kindle fire
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: Its about 2 years old - its a Fire 8 6th generation
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: It started on vacation when I couldn't get online in a motel. The previous motel we were in worked great. Now I can't get on even at home.
JA: Anything else you want the e-reader expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I've tried shutting our modum on and off, tried everything that troubleshooting told me to do. It had a ? mark on the upper right hand corner in the lines of connection.

Initially, have you considered / tried performing a software update of the Kindle? ...manually with the use of a computer?
