JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I tried to purchase the new books yesterday, they aren't showing?
JA: Anything else you want the eReader expert to know before I connect you?

Hello! Thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com; I am Russell H., an Expert here at JustAnswer.com, and I will do what I can to answer your question as well as it can be answered.

I need to ask about the circumstances, and have some initial recommendations.

First, is the Kindle registered to your Amazon.com account?

Second, is the Kindle also logged in to your Amazon.com account?

Third: Amazon.com books are not a 'push' service. Once you have bought a book on your Amazon.com account, you have to also 'reach out' from the Kindle and download it to your Kindle. It does not download itself. And you do get a copy of the book that is bought, on your Kindle, and you can read the book you bought (this way) even when your Kindle is far from a network connection - even on the bus, in a taxi, car, limo, etc.

Thanks for getting back to me...
Yes the kindle is registered to my Amazon account.
I have not had this problem happen before with all the other books I have purchased.
They have shown on my library home screen right away..

Good!

Then check on one thing.

You see: Even though they have shown up on your Library screen by now, you still might have become disconnected from the network since they showed up (and they would still show up there, I think...)

The thing to check on is: Do you have a good network connection at present?

If so, if you're sure, if the signal strength bars are in the four or five-bar range, then try downloading just one of the three books, as a test. (If it works, then try the other two.)

What result do you get that way? if there's an error message, please record it, or take it down, and then pass the error message on to me, so that I can tell what's going on, or what is failing to happen, and perhaps, why it fails.
