I'm sorry about the issue. Have you tried refreshing your Kindle with the following step:
- Press and hold the power on / off button on your Kindle for about 30 seconds, then turn it back on and check.
- Does it let you go to menu / settings on your kindle?
- If needed, can you tap on Menu (which is the 3-bar icon or 3-dot icon) at the top, then tap on Settings, then tap on Menu again, then select option Reset Device, then select Yes to confirm, and continue.
