Hi, i have an updated visa card and Number. How do i change account on my kindle.
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: good question how do i find
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: i checked the visa card # that Kindle was trying to charge against. but my visa account number has changed. about 2-3 weeks or more since i last purchased a book
JA: Anything else you want the eReader expert to know before I connect you?

Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. Please try the following:

  1. Click on the Amazon website below:
    https://www.amazon.com/manageyourkindle
  2. And sign in your Amazon account if prompted.
  3. Then click on Settings near the top right.
  4. Then click on option Edit Payment Method under the section "Digital Payment Settings".
  5. Then scroll down as needed, then click on the option Add a card.
  6. Enter the information about your new Visa card number.
  7. Click on Next, and continue the rest of the instructions there.
  8. Then you will be taken back to the Digital Payment Settings page where you can check if your new card is selected.
