Customer: Are you there dan?
JA: No. I'm the ereader specialist's Assistant.
Customer: My kindle opens and begins to load then stops with about 5% left to load. The error msg says th eapplication could not be started
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: an amazon kindle. it about 3-4 years old
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Thsi particular problem has been gooing on for about 2 months. However just before this, Icould not down load books from my library via Amazon. Everything appeared to be ok from Amazon's point of view - said the book had beed downloaded. I never received it.
JA: Anything else you want the ereader expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I could not find anything on the clous either.
