Good Morning,
JA: Hi. What is your issue regarding?
Customer: My Kindle. Yesterday I was not able to open anything on it. My facebook came on and within a few seconds, I got a message that facebook has stopped. When I tried to read my book or play a game, I got a message that Swype has stopped. I have tried shutting it down for 40 seconds twice, but with ni results.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact make and model of your machine?
Customer: Kindle Fire
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Started yesterday morning when I turned it on. I had it charged all night. I have tryed to reboot twice.
JA: Anything else you want the eReader expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I dont think so at this time.

When you shut it off for 40 seconds, did you have the charger connected? If so, please disconnect it, then hold power for 60 seconds to be safe then release.

If you delete a book that you cannot open, then try to download and open it again, does it then open?
