Hello, my name is Rusty. When you get a new Kindle, your books are stored online. Login with the exact same email and password ***** used to login to your old Kindle account. Your account is still the same, you just have a new tablet. Once you sign in with your Amazon credentials, you will be able to download any book in your library.

In short, the only books on your old Kindle, are backed up on the Amazon server, for people who get new tablets. Let me know if you have any questions.
