I am updating a Kindle touch. How can I tell if I am

Customer Question

I am updating a Kindle touch. How can I tell if I am connected to Wi-Fi?
We said to "Sync and...) and as nothing seemed to be happening, we turned the Kindle off to start over. This time the "Sync..." did not come up.
What are we supposed to be doing?

I'm sorry about the issue. Please try:

  1. From the Home / main screen, tap the Menu icon (3-bar icon).
  2. Tap Settings, and then tap Wi-Fi Networks.
  3. Check if it's connected to your wi-fi / wireless network name, if you have.

- If needed, please click on the Amazon website below:

, then there, select your kindle model, then go to the section "Determine Your Software Version", you can check if your kindle has the latest version; and if needed, follow the instructions there to update your kindle.

Please reply at the box below to continue. Thank you.
