When I try to access my Kindle- after the screen that tells

Hello, When I try to access my Kindle-White after the screen that tells me to "swipe to unlock Kindle" I get a blank screen. I cannot get anything, not a list of all my books on Kindle or the book I was reading---it seems to be locked up. Please help. Barb Hutchinson

I'm sorry about the issue. Have you tried this: Press and hold the Power on / off button on the kindle for about 30 seconds, then turn it back on and check.

- If needed, please charge the kindle for about 15 minutes, then while charging, press and hold the Power button for about 60 seconds this time, then turn it back on and check.

If that does not work, does it still show blank? How old is the kindle?
