Have a new computer with Windows 10 - have borrowed books

Customer Question

Have a new computer with Windows 10 - have borrowed books from the local library and downloaded them to the new computer - do not have Wi-Fi - when I connect the Kindle to the PC it shows up on the computer, but I can't move the books to my Kindle Paperwhite - it says they were moved but do not show up on my Kindle - what steps am I missing? Was told that Windows 10 is not compatible with Amazon - is this true? We have a laptop with Windows 8.1 - couldn't move books to my kindle on that either -

I'm sorry about the issue. What's the model of your kindle?

Was it working previously?

What folder on the Kindle device did you move the books to?
