I am the person that will be helping you today.
I feel that the best solution would be to simply, reset the Kobo and start off new again. The instructions below will reset everything on the Kobo and it will be blank. After that, you can sign into the correct account and be well on your way.
Please, follow the instructions below to reset your Kobo and resync all your books back to it:
- Turn on your Kobo
- Press the Menu button
- Press the center of the Navigation pad
- Choose Settings
- Press the center of the Navigation pad
- Choose Advanced
- Press the center of the Navigation pad
- Select Reset Device Now
- Press the center of the Navigation pad
- Plug the Kobo into the computer
- Open the Kobo Desktop application
- Log in and sync.
If you cannot access the above menus, do the following instead.
- Turn the Kobo off.
- Slide the power button to the right and hold down the light button simultaneously.
- The power light will start blinking.
- Let go of the power and the light button when you see restoring on the screen
