The connection with the charger is Bad. Moving the plug around sometimes makes the charger work. It is the female end on the Kindle that's bad. The charger works on other equipment.

Hello and sorry you're having problems.

What model Kindle do you have?

How long have you owned it?

Are you looking to repair it yourself, and if so- are you proficient at soldering?
