Before we start it sounds like you think this is Amazon, this is a paid tech support site called just answer which is in no way affiliates with Amazon or Kindle. I am an independent technician who works with Kindle's on a daily basis though if you would like to continue. If not please just reply with the word cancel. I can help you with this however there is one problem. The books you bought before will be under your daughters account. So if you create a new account under your own name using this Kindle you will no longer have access to those books. We would also need to deregister the Kindle from her account first.
